Board Members Needed

Sudley Place Townhouse Association is currently seeking one (1) additional Board Members.  We are looking for homeowner’s who can attend the monthly meetings to help make decisions on the affairs of the community.  If you are interested or would like to learn more about being a Board Member, please join us at the next scheduled board meeting.

Parking Regulations

After many requests, the parking regulations are posted on the website.  Please click on the blue parking regulations or click on the “Parking Regulations” on the left side of the Home Page.  Please read the Parking Regulations in it’s entirety.

As a reminder, these regulations are being enforced by the tow company listed in the regulations and community volunteers. They are not onsite 24/7. When they are in the community, they are recording vehicles parked in visitor spaces. If a vehicle is recorded in a visitor space 24 hours prior, it will be towed. The rule does not require that it is in the spot for the entire time.  The tow company and community volunteers also  issue warnings to owners of vehicles in violation of other parking regulations.

Also, please be aware that Residents parking in a Visitor space is a Violation of the SPTA Parking Regulations.  A Resident’s vehicle in a Visitor space can be towed immediately, without warning, at the owner’s expense.

Visitor passes for your Visitor staying an extended time can be acquired from the MJF Associates’ office as needed.   MJF Associates Offices are not open on the weekend.  They close at 5:00 pm on Fridays and reopen on Monday at 9:00 am.  If special considerations need to be made please plan accordingly.

The Association must have 10% of the homeowners in attendance in person or by proxy to conduct the annual meeting. Please come and find out what all has been happening in the community over the last year, as well as plans in process for next year. If you cannot attend, please sign the attached proxy and return it to a Board member prior to the meeting or give it to a neighbor who is planning to attend, or return it to 10692 Crestwood Drive, Manassas, VA 20109 so that we receive it prior to February 1, 2017.

Last spring we prepared another complete architectural inspection of all the homes, and have been following up on homes that have needed repairs and/or replacements. Over 120 homes had violations noted, and the majority of them have been corrected.

On a lighter note, for those who attend the meeting, we have door prizes! So please come, spend a couple of hours with your neighbors, learn about your community, and maybe go home with a nice prize. If you cannot attend, please return your proxy to us mailed to 10692 A Crestwood Drive, Manassas, VA 20109, or give to a board member prior to the meeting.

Painting Parking Space Lines, Lot Numbers and Visitor Spaces

The Sudley Place Home Owners Association has contracted to repaint all the lines, lot numbers and Visitor spaces.  The paint has warn away and complaints were being made from the Residents.  We will be repaving the roads in the Spring of 2016.
